Sand Reef is the driest place in Alexius and whole Calaspia. There is only one water hole and it isn't huge, it doesn't rain so much but when the snow is melting after winter it creates small rivers that end in that waterhole. Then the little rivers dry up and the only thing left is that waterhole. Sand Reef has a bit of grass here and there but it is mostly just sand all over the place.
