The little palomino mare trotted along through the grass, lifting her hooves high above it. After a little while of going through the grass she slowed down, then stopped. She lowered her head to start grazing on the grass. She lifted her head back up once she had a mouthful of grass, then neighed loudly, hoping that someone would come to join her.

Elvira His large draft legs pounded on the dry ground at a smooth gallop. It was mid summer and you could feel it in the air. His green eyes traced the land for any form, anything that could be alive in the heat of the day. His forelock hung halfway down his handsome face as his white mane fluttered in the breeze created by his fast moving gait. A smirk crossed his face as he saw a beautiful mare a bit darker than him. He turned on the charm and walked up to her. He cleared his throat and bowed to the mare, "Hello, Miss. How are you on this fine summer day?" His deep voice reached out to the mare as he rose up from the grassy ground. He gave the mare a wink before cocking his hoof and waiting for her to reply.

Emry's eyes widened. She hadn't been expecting a horse so much bigger and taller than her. She looked up at him before saying, "H-hi. I'm Emrys."

The birds where chirping and the bugs where buzzing around. Today was a nice day to hopefully bring a mare home with him. His attention drew back to the lovely mare to seemed to be a bit shy of him. He suppressed a soft chuckle. "Hello, I'm Elvira, you can call me El." His deep voice was loud even though he didn't intend for it to be. His green eyes traced down the mare who seemed to a good three hands smaller than him. She was cute though. Very cute.

"Hi." Emrys repeated. She smiled up at Elvira. "You're really tall."

He chuckled yet again but this time a bit louder. "Yes, or your very small." He offered another wink at the beautiful mare. His short tail swished franticly at his sides and flies bit him. His eyes looked into the mares, "Who are you meeting here? Surely such a beautiful mare like yourself can't be all alone?" His eyes looked around them for any others, but he saw none. She couldn't possibly be alone, she was way too pretty it was dangerous for her to be alone, being short and beautiful like she was. [/center]

"I'm not meeting anyone. It's just me, myself, and I." Emrys replied, fidgeting. She shook out her mane, then trotted in a circle around Elvira, trying to get a better sense of how tall he was.

Adrien had been watching the scene at a safe distance. The plant life camouflaged his frame, and his perfume intertwined with the surrounding life, masking it perfectly. The little lady was on her own. No protection from another equine, save for the brute that was now talking to her. Adrien decided it was time to make himself known to the world. It was time that he interrupted their little party.
His mahogany frame moved toward the couple. Ah, she was a lovely mare. One he would enjoy having in his herd. Surely, this other stud's intentions were the same; however, Adrien did not care. He kind of hoped that a battle would brew between them both. He craved to watch the life of another spill upon the earth in a liquid, crimson form. For his evil side was the side known to the world right now. His heavenly soul was locked away in a prison. It would beg to be released in the future, but now was what mattered. Now, at this very moment, he was purely evil.
A venomous smile caressed Adrien's obsidian maw. Lyrcs now sung out to the two that stood before him. Well, she is meeting me here, now. Sorry to interrupt your little party, but I am afraid this little mare will be mine shortly. His words were now directed toward the fae. Come now, princess. Let us begin our journey home. Make this easy for me. I do not wish to scar your precious pelt, but I will not refrain from doing so if I must.

Emry's tilted her head to the side curiously, narrowing her eyes. "O-okay, I think." Emrys took a few slow, hesitant steps over to Adrien's side, not really sure what she was doing.

Elvira pinned his ears back. "No!" He said as he stepped in between the mare and the stallion. He bumped the mare with his nose on her nose. "Run!" He whispered in her ear before he turned back to the stallion that stood before him. His eyes narrowed as he looked down on the stallion. "Do you really wish to pick a fight with a stallion larger than you?! You fool! And how dare you think of hurting this mare!" His ears were rotated back on his palomino neck as he exposed his teeth and readied his stance for any fighting that could take place. His keen, green eyes watched the stallion closely as he heard the mare's movements. He wasn't sure what she did or where she went but all he knew was that he needed to protect her with all his power. Something didn't seem right with the stallion that stood before him begging for a broken jaw. He wasn't sure what the other stallion had in store for him but Elvira knew he was stronger and smarter than the stallion could ever wish to be. Elvira stood at the ready and waited for the stallions or the mares reply.

A mocking timbre of laughter boomed from the hellion's maw. Ah, the foolish stallion amused him. Run he said the the little mare. Running would not save her. Following her aroma would be easy if she decided to try to escape the devil. His lyrics were laced with velvet, not a trace of anger was visible in his voice's timbre. The only one acting aggressive is you, brute. I am only here to claim what is now rightfully mine. She was coming with me to my herd. I have no business with you; however, if you insist on fighting I will gladly put you in your place. His eyes danced up at the towering steed. No trace of fear embraced Adrien's frame. The stallion's size did not intimidate him.
His attention was directed at the small mare once more. His lyrics were soft as he sung out to her, now. Come, darling. Let us leave before this stallion's head explodes. A sinister chuckle escaped his maw. Adrien's eyes were directed at the towering steed once more as he awaited what actions he took next.

Emrys looked at both Adrien and Elvira nervously. She pinned her ears back. She had no idea who to trust, so she just followed Adrien's orders. He sounded evil and bad, but he had so much more authority than Elvira that Emrys just obeyed. She pressed closer to Adrien.

He galloped after the mystious stallion and the mare and again somehow seperated them. His eyes narrowed at the stallion as he bent over to the mare once more. "Do as I say if you want your life to continue, I will never hurt you, but he will, my dear. Run as hard and as fast as you can until you reach the river to the west. Follow the river all the way to the south, you will be in my land when the river ends. Your sent will not carry in the water, my love. Now run, my dear, run as fast as you can! I will be right behind you I promise!" He whispered in her ear hoping that this time she would listen to him. He turned to the stallion. "Then a fight it will be!" His deep voice was cold as he looked into the stallions face.

Sapphire jewels rolled in their sockets as the brute whispered his words to the mare. He did not hear the spoken lyrics, but he knew it was something foolish. He nudged the mare with his maw as he spoke to her with velvet laced lyrics. I assure you no harm will come of you, so as long as you obey my orders." He then looked at the towering steed with his cerulean orbs. The devil wanted a fight. A fight over a mare. Ah, yes. A fight in which he long craved for. Well, since you insist. . . I am no coward." With an arched neck to protect his vulnerable esophagus, he lashed out at the stud with his front blades. He aimed at striking the legs of the steed before him. If he could get the stud on the ground, it would work in his favor.

Emrys backed away from both stallions, her ears pinned back. She turned and ran for the river, then stopped when she was in the dead center of it, ready to obey either command.
